Chief Keef teamed up with Akachi for a new banger.
Chief Keefe has been busy lately. In April, he announced a new partnership with denim brand True Religion. Then, in June, he launched his own brand, 43B, with Lil Gnar as the first signer. But all this action doesn’t mean Keef is too busy to rap.
Legendary rapper Chicago Drill delivers some strong beats in a new track featuring Akachi. The track’s instrumental music is supported by swirling synth lines with thumping 808s and a formidable horn section. Keefe took his time on the route, making sure every line was sinking. Of course there are some dizzying lines too, like “I’m pumping my arm pit on that moldy phone” or “You can get ya Gyro’d, n***a, no tzatziki.” At the end of the tanka, continued In a little over two minutes, Keef turns its flow into a dashed tune in which the text becomes a little more than noise.
