Go on a fast outing back on schedule to one of ScHoolboy Q’s breakout singles with “THere He Go” off “Propensities and Contradictions.”
On Friday, January 14, 2022 (otherwise called tomorrow), it will have been decade since ScHoolboy Q delivered his breakout collection, Habits and Contradictions. At that point, ScHoolboy Q was one more name on the humming TDE program, every one of whom we were still getting to know- – Ab-Soul and Kendrick Lamar among them.
Propensities and Contradictions filled in as Q’s second studio collection, and truly helped sling his druggy and trippy brand of rap to the front line of TDE. Despite the fact that, assuming we’re being straightforward, this was a period when all of TDE was coming through with fire- – Ab-Soul’s Control System would show up a couple of months after HnC, while Kendrick Lamar’s widely praised debut collection, great child, m.A.A.d city, would follow after accordingly. 2012, then, at that point, was a damn decent year for TDE discharges.
Regardless, today, we’re featuring one specific melody off HnC to praise the collection’s 10-year commemoration a piece early. “THere He Go” demonstrated among the collection’s generally critical, with a non mainstream rock test (Menomena “Wet and Rusting”) from Sounwave arranged into a habit-forming circle, as ScHoolboy Q’s one of a kind stream chattered all around the beat. Furthermore it certainly still goes.
