Rae Sremmurd’s second studio collection “Sremmlife 2” praises its five-year commemoration.

Five years prior today, on August 12, 2016, Rae Sremmurd released their second studio collection Sremmlife 2. Bragging some their greatest hits to date — including “Dark Beatles,” “By Chance,” “Wake up,” and “Swang” — the caring pair’s second portion in the Sremmlife set of three was one of their most rowdy attempts to date.

A record that saw its actual potential during live shows or smoke-filled gatherings, Sremmlife 2 has matured astoundingly well, and quite a bit of that can be ascribed to the record’s adaptability and all-around irresistible enthusiasm.

On its five-year commemoration, we return to Sremmlife 2’s subsequent track, the Kodak Black-helped “Genuine Chill.” While the collection’s initial track in a real sense found both Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi shouting that the time had come to “start a party,” “Genuine Chill” is the point at which the genuine party starts on Rae Sremmurd’s expertly created sophomore collection. With hard-hitting stanzas from Slim Jxmmi and Kodak Black, Swae Lee’s earwarm of a snare, and woozy creation politeness of 30 Roc and Mike WiLL Made-It, “Genuine Chill” was a bonafide crush.

Return to Rae Sremmurd’s enthusiastic second studio collection by watching the music video for “- Real Chill” underneath. After five years, what’s your #1 track from Sremmlife 2? Also, where do you think the record positions in the Rae Sremmurd set of three?
