N.E.R.D’s third studio collection “Seeing Sounds” is authoritatively 13 years of age.

Today denotes the 13-year commemoration of two darling Hip-Hop cuts. While nobody will most likely contend that Tha Carter III is certifiably not a time tested work of art, there could be a discussion with regards to how N.E.R.D’s third studio collection Seeing Sounds holds up over 10 years after the fact. Driven by the varied single “Everybody Nose (All the Girls Standing in the Line for the Bathroom),” the collection sold 80,000 duplicates in its first week and proceeded to make a big appearance at number seven on the Billboard 200.

On Seeing Sounds, Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, and Shay Haley were expecting to create a collection that was more flighty, invigorating, and moving than its 2004 archetype Fly or Die, and with melodies like “Hostile to Matter,” “Spaz,” and “At some point or another,” it’s protected to say that N.E.R.D. prevailed on that front. After thirteen years, “Eventually” stays one of Seeing Sounds’ features, as it utilizes a slamming beat drop to sonically show the point that “Sometime,” everything truly comes smashing down.

Indeed, even Tyler, The Creator, a self-declared understudy of Pharrell, loves “Sometime.” Back in 2012, the Igor craftsman tweeted that after hearing the Seeing Sounds champion track interestingly, he cried, and as you can see underneath, he’s really conceded to it on different events.

Praise the 13-year commemoration of N.E.R.D’s Seeing Soundsby watching the music video for “Sometime” underneath. Glancing back at the collection, what was your number one track?
