Hit-Boy changed and created the track that shows up as the third portion of the RapCaviar x Spotify Singles series.
This track accompanies a touch of Hip Hop history and Nas demonstrates that regardless of how long it has been, he’s resolved to complete a track. Back in 1993, Nasir Jones dropped his “Life Is Like A Dice Game” free-form as a piece of his Illmatic meetings. The first free-form shut with Nas saying, “When I finish the sh*t, it will be a hit,” in any case, he didn’t finish the track as of not long ago.
“Life Is Like A Dice Game” comes kindness of RapCaviar x Spotify Singles as the series’ third portion. Spotify’s Head of Urban, Carl Chery, purportedly was the A&R behind the fruition of this many years old track and was instrumental in getting Hit-Boy to change the beat and produce the refreshed single. With another section by Nas at hand and extra bars by Freddie Gibbs and Cordae, “Life Is Like A Dice Game” is a track you would prefer not to miss.
“Spotify pulled out a break from the 90s that I did ages back, and inquired as to whether I could restore it,” said Nas. “I can’t recall where I recorded it, or who delivered it – possibly Easy Moe Bee, he was killin’ the game at that point! Carl Chery from Spotify proposed we interface with Freddie and Cordae to bring the tune new life and I cherished it.”
